The Director of Global Sales and Marketing is responsible for the overall coordination, management, and leadership of all sales activities. This role reports directly to the VP/Business Manager of AMETEK IntelliPower. To be successful this individual will need an intimate knowledge the requirements for building and leading a growth oriented global sales organization while analyzing, implementing, and driving an effective commercial strategy that significantly increases market share in AMETEK IntelliPower's key verticals. This individual will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the sales budget (monthly, quarterly and annually), including the development and market flexibility to plan for and support the sales team in their pursuit to achieve sales plans. This role will have direct responsibility for the development, training and coaching of the Regional Sales Managers. He/she will also play a large role and or contribute to AMETEK PPP's strategic plan and providing the tactical tools for achieving the plan This role is a key executive leadership position for AMETEK IntelliPower that will have responsibility to drive the short- and long-term growth of the IntelliPower business both domestically and internationally. This leader will drive the market share growth strategy in AMETEK IntelliPower key verticals and drive market penetration into adjacent growth verticals. o Responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales commitments in orders and shipments while achieving expected profit at an account and order basis. As part of this process the Global Director of Sales will be responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan. o Coordination with the Leadership Team, establishes target customer/industry strategies for IntelliPower Products with the marketing strategies developed as part of the Strategic planning process. o Responsible for the attainment and growth of service sales. Responsible to drive growth of annuity based aftermarket programs that drive additional revenue and high levels of customer satisfaction o Responsible for coordinating the above mentioned objectives with all functional departments, most specifically with Manufacturing and Finance. Additionally, this role will play a key part in critical meetings such as Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) to ensure company alignment on processes and expectations. o Responsible for the continued development and relationship building of IntelliPower's customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies. o Coordinate the sales processes throughout IntelliPower Products, assuring that there are common practices and processes across the organization and that best practices are leveraged to the highest degree possible. o Manage and drive IntelliPower digital marketing strategy significant lead generation growth through management of IntelliPower marketing personnel. o Responsible to manage and drive high levels of customer satisfaction through the implementation of structure and process improvements in IntelliPower sales support organization to drive higher levels of selling time and customer support. Financial Responsibility and Authority:
In conjunction with the VP/BM of IntelliPower this individual will have responsibility for establishing pricing strategies and discount programs in accordance with company expectations. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation and commission plans for sales personnel, and to create sales contest and incentives. Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
o Experience managing both internal and external sales personnel o Has a strong understanding of the management of sales management tactics o Uninterruptible Power Supply industry or Power Electronics experience preferred o Government Program experience is required & Heavy Industry vertical experience preferred o Proven experience of executing tactical sales plans include quotas and account objectives o Proven experience as a strong negotiator o Is a demonstrated leader among employees, and can show result for holding people accountable and meeting expectations Position Requirements:
o Has effective and proven time management skills o Experience in implementing sales process & tools such as CRM and marketing automation o Minimum of 5-7 years of experience, with at least the last 3-5 years as a Sales Manager with increasing responsibility o Channel management experience is required o Internal and external sales compensation & commission management and implementation is required o Implementation and experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM is required o Implementation and management of marketing automation & lead generation growth via digital presence is required o Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. o MBA preferred but not necessary o International experience is required o Highly customer focused o Strong written and oral communication skills o Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and database applications o Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 45%.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
