Job Description Job SummaryMaintains accountability for the integrity, functioning and ongoing maintenance of databases. Collects, codes, enters and analyzes data, and develops reports for communicating findings, while keeping data secure and confidential. Acts as a resource to other members of the department and Spectrum Health as it relates to database management and report requests.Essential FunctionsUtilizes clinical judgment to coordinate the retrieval of pertinent clinical data. Ensures data is entered into the computer and monitors accuracy, timelines and completeness of data collected and communicates to appropriate people. Performs queries and generates reports based on the data collected and communicates findings to program director and other appropriate people. Extracts pertinent information from data analysis and prepares in a meaningful manner for presentation. Manipulates data output to develop unique reports to meet special requests and reviews reports/data to determine accuracy. Works with programming staff to make adjustment in the database to meet program needs. Communicates, collaborates and acts as a consultant to other members of the health care/database team within and outside Spectrum Health in order to coordinate data analysis efforts and suggestions for programmatic improvements. Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities, making improvements in data management, and suggestions for programmatic improvements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 5 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities Database management Required Nursing experience Required LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
NursingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
