Physician - Wound & Hyperbaric Care at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI
Spectrum Health Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated BE/BC Hyperbaric physician to join our collegial, well established, and respected group of physicians. Spectrum Health offers the only 24/7 emergent and critical care hyperbaric oxygen services in the state of Michigan. Opportunity Overview We treat all hyperbaric indications approved by the UHMS We have an outpatient Wound, Hyperbaric and Limb Preservation clinic with 15 rooms adjoined to our Level 1 hospital as well as an outreach clinic at one of our regional hospitals We are part of a multidisciplinary Limb Preservation Board which meets weekly Resident and medical student teaching opportunities are available Exciting research opportunities both in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Outpatient 70% / Inpatient 30% - when in clinic seeing approx. 20 patients Weeknight Call - 1 night per week / Weekend Call - 1:
5 weekends Prefer BE/BC Hyperbaric physician. All will need to obtain additional Wound Certification. We perform telemedicine consults for all regional hospitals, some nursing homes, and in-home virtual visits for patients Requirements BE/BC Hyperbaric physician. Primary specialties include:
Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or surgical specialty Ideally fellowship-trained Wound Certification will be required (can be done after hire) MI license Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
