The Quality Assurance department manages several of our Quality Incentive programs with the major health insurance payors.
The team monitors processes and provide ideas for improvement.
We ensure that the patient health maintenance is maintained regularly.
Department Quality -At East Paris located in the Quality Department Hours Monday- Friday from 8:
00 AM-5:
00 PM Reports to Quality/IT/Medical Records Manager Essential Functions and Responsibilities Medical Records Insurance requests Payments for records Authorization releases, Voicemails, submitting when asked by Medical Records Quality Lab ordering in advance of Physicals Quality Audits BOI/WMACO-Scheduling of AWVs/PEs and follow up visits Quality record requests/CIOX, BCBS , PH Quality Measures; health maintenance, PH and BCBS Other duties:
Mailings, printing, and special projects Documentation inbox PHQ9s back up BOI add on, will remain back up to BOI coordinator Referral loop closing when time Additional duties that are assigned by manager Job Competencies Must be able to effectively apply excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and nonverbal communication Must be Customer Service orientated Must have computer proficiency and excellent typing skills Must have high attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities Must be goal oriented Must be a strong team player Must have a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor Must be reliable and flexible Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures that apply to the job area of responsibility including compliance, HIPAA and OSHA and complete necessary training timely Required Education and Experience A High School Diploma Must have excellent skills in Microsoft, Excel, and Word Must exhibit professionalism within the workplace, maintain punctuality Preferred a two years' experience in health care or health insurance setting Preferred experience in medical terminology The position offers an attractive salary, and an excellent benefit package, including after 1 year employee contribution to our 401K and profit sharing.
