3DXTECH is looking for a detail-oriented sales specialist, passionate about technology, to help identify and develop new customers, many of whom are the most well-known and innovative companies in science and technology.
Our Technical Sales Representative will focus on selling our Triton brand of 3d printing filaments and have the opportunity to succeed in a digital and technology-enabled sales process, working with such customers to bring them our entire range of high-performance 3D printing materials and 3D printer technology.
Job responsibilities include:
On-site technical sales position at our Grand Rapids, MI location Primary point of contact for direct sales accounts (corporate accounts, resellers).
Assigned accounts and growth goals.
Frequent communication with current and prospective customers via phone, email, and online chat tools.
Order management including quote generation, order entry, and follow-up.
Communicating customer needs across business segments by being the voice of the customer inside the company.
Participation in trade shows throughout the US and internationally as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need to will be equipped with:
Associate or bachelor's degree with technical emphasis / background.
5 years or more in a technically challenging environment (manufacturing, software, materials, etc.
Sales and digital lead handling experience including demonstrated management and follow-through with a sales lead pipeline.
Minimum of 3 years of sales / customer service experience in a technically challenging industry.
Reliability - someone the organization can count on and who requires minimal direct supervision.
Self-motivation including a sense of ownership and urgency in your work and how it impacts the business and your coworkers.
The ability to ask questions, to retain information, and apply these to situations in the future.
Able to solve problems with sometimes incomplete or imperfect information including the ability to say, I do not know - but I'll find out, i.
e.
, operating within your current level of competence in each interaction.
Ability to calculate pricing, discounts, percentages, currency conversions, weight conversions, and other basic math as needed.
Well-developed time management and communication skills.
Must be able to do multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in 3D printing highly desired.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional trade show and customer visits may be required Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Bonus and commission potential to 2x salary based on performance.
