8 11 hours ago Full Job Description COME WORK WILD WITH US! Reporting to the Development Director, the Development Coordinator creates and activates the donor experience through executing the plan to generate measurable and sustainable increases for the Zoo's fundraising efforts.
Key responsibilities include assisting with the annual acquisition and renewal program, maintaining excellent donor relations and stewardship communications, engaging volunteers and board members for annual giving and special events, and driving fundraising growth.
The primary focus for this position is to support the Development Director in implementing strategies and tactics that will enhance individual annual giving while also expanding the long-term pipeline for major gifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in implementing an annual/unrestricted giving plan to reach annual goals, including strategies for acquisition, retention, fulfillment, and stewardship, implementing direct mail solicitation campaigns, and organizing additional retention and upgrade initiatives Produces new materials, stewardship campaigns, and tools targeted to enhance relationships with donors and prospects Supports the cultivation and communication with donors (and prospective donors), preparation and logistics for fundraising events, and the administrative function of annual fund and capital campaigns Supports the donor stewardship program, including the generation of prompt thank you calls, acknowledgment letters, donor outreach, and performance analysis of appeals and donor messaging Works closely with the Database Coordinator to ensure constituent interactions and moves are documented Works closely with the Development Events Manager to support donor engagement, stewardship, and fundraising events Work closely with volunteers, board members, and across departmentsSupports membership engagement and upgrade opportunities with Development Director Ensures accurate and appropriate donor recognition in all formats (e.
