4 Quick Apply Full-time 5 days ago Full Job Description SUMMARY Assist with planning production schedules for the manufacture of industrial products, including scheduling work for individual departments and operations.
Follow up actual against scheduled production and work to adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Work to adjust flow of work to insure effective use of available capacity for labor, tools and equipment.
Assist with coordinating production operations with the requirements for finished products and the needs for materials and labor.
Duties include preparation of daily and weekly schedules for assigned product lines or departments and for coordination with the overall master schedule.
Communicate regularly with purchasing and production staff to adjust schedules to accommodate changes in machine or material availability or staffing.
Works under limited supervision and has significant responsibility for efficiency of operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Plan production schedules of Machine builds, Spare Parts, and Warranty parts through the entire production process from Purchasing to Shipping.
Plan workflow through various departments to ensure timely completion of equipment builds.
Manage and expedite all Engineering changes with the various departments.
Manage NCN's (Non-Conformance Notices) through the system for timely resolution and closure.
Maintain work cell loading reports and information.
Backup for the Materials Flow Supervisor.
Work with a cross functional team on continuous improvement activities.
Work with others on the transition to a new ERP system.
