Facilities Resource Group Facilities Resource Group Grand Rapids, MI Grand Rapids, MI Full-time Full-time $18 - $22 an hour $18 - $22 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago OPPORTUNITY Facilities Resource Group (FRG) is looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who can troubleshoot and implement plumbing solutions over the phone for our commercial customers.
The ideal candidate will have solid general plumbing experience, superior customer service skills, and work well in-house both individually and on a team.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Answer inbound calls from customers regarding plumbing issues.
Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot the issue and resolve the problem.
Schedule technicians and/or subcontractors to diagnose and repair complex matters.
Order parts as necessary.
Follow up with customers to explain work completed and ensure customer satisfaction.
Consistently and accurately document all work completed.
Participate in on-call rotations (with bonus pay) after training is complete.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of general plumbing experience.
Water heater experience is a plus! Excellent interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions appropriately and work with subcontractors, and colleagues.
Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal).
Strong work ethic.
Proficient computer skills and familiar with the use of smartphones, text messaging, and email.
Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check and drug screen.
PREFERRED SKILLS Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems and find a solution.
Good driving record and willingness to travel on occasional, out-of-town repairs (up to 10% travel) Ability to handle pressure and demonstrate a can do attitude.
