Multi Family Apartment Construction.
We are seeking an experienced site superintendent to supervise build-out of a 25 unit apartment complex in Plainwell, MI.
(Allegan County 15 miles north of Kalamazoo).
This is an on-site position with commute from grand rapids.
This project is currently finishing construction.
Superintendent will help complete this project and then move to a superintendent position for a 40 unit apartment project in Bath Township/Lansing Michigan, which will take approximately one year to build, and thereafter shift to a third project located in grand rapids.
Responsibilities Manage schedule:
ensure subcontractors are timely on site.
Ensure quality:
ensure buildings built to spec, code and to a high construction standard.
Resolve/troubleshoot issues together with project manager
owner.
Perform miscellaneous physical work as necessary.
Coordinate code inspections
materials testing.
Ensure safety standards are met
implement project safety program.
Coordinate delivery of materials as necessary.
Help Prepare
Monitor Subcontracts.
Help prepare Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
Help Finalize Subcontracts, Purchase Orders and Change Orders Help track all Subcontracts, Purchase Orders and Change Orders Help obtain and track Lien Waivers from Subcontractors and Suppliers Supervise punch list Warranty repair coordination with subcontractors.
Help Prepare Closeout Manual at job completion Help monitor subcontractor insurance registration and certification Excel Realty Group, located in Beachwood, Oh, is a diverse real estate development company, with an approximately 1200 unit apartment portfolio in Michigan, which develops top quality market rate and affordable multifamily rental properties.
Construction will be performed under a licensed Michigan general contractor:
