Job Description:
Candidate must be able to assemble electronic subassemblies and final assemblies, using both written and paperless work instructions.
Candidate is expected to perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs.
Awareness of aviation products and specifications is a plus.
Essential Functions:
Candidate must have good computer skills and a working knowledge of windows-based programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
The position requires the ability to read and understand Engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
2 years test experience in aerospace, military, and/or communications satellite hardware production.
IPC A610 or JST 001 Certification or the ability to pass the ESD certification, IPC A610 and JSTD 001.
Preferred Additional Skills:
General knowledge of Lean or demand flow manufacturing practices would be helpful.
