Principal Duties and Responsibilities Collects and verifies content or information to be included in corporate communications.
Researches targeted audiences and suggests communication channels.
May create and maintain media or distribution lists.
Assists in the creative processes of developing and communicating new ideas, from creating messages to determining and optimizing communication channels.
Works on both internal and external comms projects and initiatives, including public relations, community relations, government relations, and marketing comms.
Qualifications Entry-level position that requires a bachelor's degree, and relevant experience.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Sound discretion and ability to make decisions.
Self-starter who is able to work as part of a team and who builds collaborative relationships.
Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Reports to Director, Corp.
