About the position:
The 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor has the overall responsibility for client service, production workload, inventory standards, and metrics on the second shift.
The 2nd shift supervisor's primary responsibilities include ongoing communication with client regarding orders, inbound and outbound load management, and leading and managing associates of multiple skill sets, such as material handlers and client service representatives, in the performance of receipt, storage, inventory, and shipping functions supported by a warehouse management system.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:
Train, lead, and supervise associates of multiple skill levels who perform receipt, storage, inventory, and shipping functions supported by a warehouse management system, ensuring the safety and productivity of associates through knowledge and enforcement of company SOPs, OSHA standards, and company values.
Communicate effectively with clients, associates, and other stakeholders at all levels of operations.
Utilize Warehouse Management System tools to support effective management courses of action.
You are a great fit for this role if you have:
2-3 years of experience working with Warehouse Management system.
2-3 years of experience in an inventory warehouse work environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Client development and customer service driven attitude.
