The ideal candidate must have excellent ethical standards and be trustworthy with confidential information.
This person must have good organizational skills, an eye-for-detail, the ability to multi-task, and familiarity with payroll.
This role will require consistent communication and coordination with multiple departments within the organization to ensure employees have positive HR support.
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and EHS.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR Department Deal knowledgeably with employee inquiries/requests regarding human resource issues, rules, and regulations; resolving problems effectively and timely Conduct orientations for newly-hired employees Compile and update employee records Assist with the processes for bi-weekly payroll Calculate timesheets, reviewing for data integrity, accuracy, and completeness Review submitted employee expense receipts and process approved reimbursements through payroll Audit attendance records Maintain the highest ethical standards at all times Adhere to company policies Accept other duties and tasks assigned with proven skills and abilities
Qualifications:
Understanding best practices for HR administration Exhibit intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrate ability to follow instructions Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities to interact with colleagues and executives Capable to recognize and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
