We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our teams.
Accounting Assistant responsibilities include entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices.
Collecting on account receivable balances.
and communicating with customers.
Ultimately, you will help our accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter financial transactions into our internal databases and reconcile invoices.
Collect on account receivable balances and communicate effectively with customers.
Ensure correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes in figures, postings, and documents.
Prepare bank deposits, verify and balance receipts, and send payments to bank.
Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
Use specialized accounting software to debit, credit, and total accounts.
Maintain both digital and physical financial records.
Prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements.
Prepare purchase orders and expense reports.
Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports for quarterly and annual audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience as an assistant, clerk, or similar role.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks; Cloud-based data software, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint; Database software, Microsoft Excel, Access; Enterprise resource planning ERP software.
Strong mathematical skills and the ability to use these to solve problems.
Excellent inductive and deductive reasoning skills.
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Preferred:
2 years of experience in a similar role and an Associate's degree in accounting, business or similar field.
Preferred:
Experience with Service Titan software.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
