Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspecting Inventory:
Receive incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and inspecting for damages.
Update inventory records and notify the appropriate parties of any discrepancies.
Order Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick items from shelves based on order specifications.
Safely and efficiently pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Inventory Management:
Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic manner.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.
Shipping and Receiving:
Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Coordinate with shipping carriers and track shipments as necessary.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
Report any quality issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Operational Support:
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and contribute to a positive work environment.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Participate in safety training sessions and report any safety concerns.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
