We are seeking a dynamic leader for our inpatient Health Information & Coding Department! If you are a skilled, organized, experienced RHIT, RHIA, or CCS Coding

This
position
provides management and leadership, and is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely coding/processing of patient records. This position will provide daily management of the HIM Department to ensure maintenance of quality health record, overseeing regulatory and legal compliance, and ensuring the HIM team provides high levels of customer service.
This position will also serve as a coding educator for the coding and clinical documentation specialists and other healthcare professionals/departments regarding the use of coding guidelines and proper documentation requirements as it relates to clinical data quality management and reimbursement.
Qualifications:
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of INPATIENT HOSPITAL diagnostic and procedural coding operations, and clinical documentation requirements.
Bachelors Degree in Health Information Management, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of years of education and work experience (must have work experience in a Hospital based HIM Department) working in a Supervisory or leadership capacity.
Two or more years of HIM Department Supervisory or Management experience is REQUIRED.
CCS, RHIT or RHIA certification
