Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this role, as Plant Specialist/Process Engineer, is to assist plant management and operations
personnel daily in evaluating and achieving plant performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity,
reliability and operability. The incumbent will be a member of the Plant technical staff team.

The incumbent will:
o Fill in for functional leader as needed: absence of functional leader from plant (vacation, business, schedule conflicts, illness).
Such activities would include setting priorities with respect to plant resources (materials and manpower), project management,
technical support for operations and maintenance, and capital tracking and reporting;
o Prepare materials for and assists in conducting operator training under the direction of a functional leader and/or Plant manager;
o Investigate plant performance issues related to safety, quality, environmental impact, capacity, reliability and operability leading
to proposal and implementation of sound technical solutions;
o Participate in P&PS HAZOP/PHA revalidation meetings and timely closes Action Items documented into BATS;
o Create and maintain plant operating documentation (e.g. standard operating procedures, start-up and washout procedures,
process descriptions, material and energy balances, P&IDs, operating data collection and retrieval, etc.).
o Propose solutions to prevent reoccurrence of off-spec batches and external quality complaints;
o Assist with the analysis of equipment downtime, corrective action planning, and project development to improve the productivity
of the plant;
o Monitors acquisition and analyze OEE data; assists managers at developing and reporting initiatives/project to improve
performance;
o Manage documentation of temporary and permanent changes via the MOC process;
o Recommend adjustments to operational parameters on an on-going basis. . Must be able to multitask;
o Recommend programming or mechanical changes and sees that these are carried out as well as authoring most Management of Change documentation (BATS);
o Propose designs and executes plant trials directed at enhancing plant performance;
o Serve as process expert and plant representative for design, construction and implementation of capital projects - interfacing
with technical professionals from other disciplines (Facilities, PCS and Project Engineering, Environmental Operations, Process
Development, etc.);
o Compile forms and submits environmental data necessary for timely and accurate filing with local, state and federal regulatory
agencies.

Your Qualifications / Experience
The selected candidate is required to possess the following:
o Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related science or equivalent experience with four years of experience;
o Experience in process measurement and applications in a manufacturing environment;
o Broad technical background, excellent knowledge of the chemical processes in order to effectively analyze, recommends and
makes complex decisions;
o Ability to lead and manage a team as well as work independently;
o Ability to manage and successfully execute capital projects including development and presentation of project scope, cost
estimating, budgeting and scheduling;
o Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communicate skills in both technical and non-technical areas;
o Intermediate computer skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
