Right now, we are seeking a
Business Development Executive - University Sales
.

In this role, you will identify, create and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate foreign exchange and international payment sectors as related to
Higher Education in the upper mid-west and mid-atlantic region including Wisconsin, Illinios, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, West Virginia,
North Carolina, and South Carolina.

In addition, you will:
Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through effectively presenting solutions that encompass clients' entire international payment needs and establishing Western Union Business Solutions as the primary provider
Market and close sales opportunities for WUBS foreign exchange products and international payment services
Build and maintain strategic business relationships with existing and prospective clients
Develop and utilize networking opportunities to establish WUBS as a credible member of the professional community and to identify and create new business opportunities
Research and analyze clients' business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how WUBS can meet client needs
Develop sales strategies and plan to best position products and services
Manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline reports, and competitor information
Partner with marketing to implement marketing/brand awareness campaigns for core clients as well as conduct ongoing analysis of the market to identify/upsell business opportunities
Communicate customer requirements, sales, and lead information with the trading team and management
Adhere to Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, as well as all company policies
Attend various business networking and prospecting events including: National Trade Shows, Regional Trade Shows and local market events, representing WUBS in a professional manner at all times
Meet and exceed sales targets by establishing a productive sales/dealer relationship
Develop and maintain sales pipeline on
Qualifications:
Proven record in solution selling within the financial services marketplace and/or business-to-business segment.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to identify opportunities and control sales process to close a deal with a win/win outcome.
Ability to ask probing questions to understand needs of customer.
High degree of professionalism, with a confident, assertive style.
Strong desire to succeed and self motivated / self starting.
Strong leadership skills including the ability to lead by example.
Strong collaborative and team building skills.
Effective time management skills including the ability to direct others to a desired outcome.
Strong skills.
Solid computer skills with ability to use MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
University or college education with an emphasis on international studies, economics, or finance - highly regarded.
Minimum 5 years of business to business solution sales experience with a proven track record - essential.
Experience in the legal industry - an asset.
Demonstrated negotiation capabilities, with an ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and formal presentation skills.
Superior customer service skills with a focus on building customer loyalty.
Knowledge of the international payments marketplace - an asset.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
