Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking Community Housing Liaison for a non-profit client in Grand Rapids, MI. This individual will work closely with education and outreach staff to coordinate and administer activities and events, while also providing support for program development, implementation, and service coordination to ensure effective service delivery and collaborative relations.
Responsibilities:Identify new opportunities for education and outreach by working within the community to identify needs; propose and coordinate new initiatives
Maintain awareness of and engagement with other community organizations, outreach groups, networks and educational venues to build community relations and identify new program offerings
Identify resource needs (staff and volunteers) needed to deliver and sustain optimal program results. Direct and manage the activities of others as appropriate
Plan and coordinate the development and implementation of programs and activities that benefit the needs of the community and align with the community relations goals of the organization.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in public administration or a related field preferred
Related non-profit experience, including educational programming
Ability to plan, organize, develop tactical plans and set priorities
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a cooperative and collaborative manner
Strong presentation and computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Prezi, etc.)
