The Benefits Analyst and HR Generalist will oversee and administer benefits programs for the organization and assist with HR generalist responsibilities.
Responsibilities:Survey industry trends and benchmark best practices in compensation and benefits
Analyze benefits information and provide recommendations
Act as main point of contact for benefits providers and third party administrators
Ensure compliance with all benefits legislation
Lead benefits orientation process for new employees; develop and conduct benefits training and education meetings for existing employees
Act as main point of contact for employees benefits questions
Perform full life cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions as needed
Oversee coordination of pre-employment process, including professional references, background check, drug test, and other pre-employment and position specific testing
Assist with employee relations by providing guidance on company policies and practices to supervisors and employees
Conduct employee orientation and safety training for new hires as needed
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field required; HRCI (PHR/SPHR) and/or SHRM (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) certifications highly preferred
Minimum of 8 years of human resources experience required with at least 3 years of benefits experience required
Knowledge of current federal and state employment and benefits law required with a demonstrated commitment to maintaining current industry knowledge
Strong project management and analysis skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
