Summary:
The Computer Technician will install, configure, diagnose, repair, and maintain system and end-user computer hardware and software. This is a great opportunity to join a growing locally based company and learn new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Provide support for end-user and system devices, including PCs, printers, scanning and radio frequency devices, mobile technology (i.e., tablets and smart phones) and other products to meet published service level targets
Assess need for and implements performance upgrades to personal computers (PCs), including installation of Central Processing Units (CPUs), Input/Output (I/O) and Network Information Card (NIC) cards, hard disks, hard drives, Random Access Machine (RAM), memory chips, Compact Disk-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM), and other hardware, to ensure maximum functionality
Desktop and laptop repair in both Windows and Mac environments
Phone repair in Android and iOS environments
Troubleshoot software in Windows and Mac
Qualifications:2 years of related experience, including imaging computers
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in PC hardware and software
Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation
Familiar with windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8
Comp TIA A
Certification, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and/or hardware manufacturer certification (i.e. Dell certified) preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
