Video Engineer/Project Manager

Account Manager/Project Manager
Responsible for overall design, setup, operation and maintenance of professional video equipment.
Engineer will coordinate designs and schedule equipment. The Engineer will work and communicate with the appropriate personnel to ensure projects proceed from the order stage through final completion. If additional personnel are needed for the live event, Engineer will seek and coordinate subcontractors. The Engineer may assume the role of a Project Manager on some events and will be responsible for all production elements involved with events.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in the live event production industry with progressive responsibility required. Some direct or indirect supervisory experience preferred. Additional education can be substituted for experience and
vice versa.
Working Knowledge: Must possess technical video engineering skills with knowledge in current technology including switchers,scalers, cameras, playback devices, and projection; must be skilled in the design of new video systems; must possess knowledge regarding integration of video systems with sound and lighting systems; strong business acumen, skilled in project management, be skilled in providing direction to others and team building. Ability to work with audio and lighting equipment a plus.
Licenses or certifications: Must hold a minimum of a Class B commercial driver's license or be willing and able to obtain, prefer a Class A.
Travel and Schedule:
Some out of town travel will be required with occasional overnight travel. Position is event based and requires flexibility in hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

6. Proficiency in the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, and presentation programs, as well as
email and internet.
7. Proficiency in use of applicable trade software and equipment is required.
8. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project
by a specific due date.
9. Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.
10. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
