Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create 2D CAD drawings based on customer data (2D or 3D).
Create CNC programs for multiple machines using different software packages.
Create quality check sheets for parts and processes.
Work with engineering, product development, and design to find solutions for manufacturability.
Modify existing CAD drawings and CNC programs as necessary due to engineering changes or process improvement.
Maintain accurate and detailed tooling information for various machine types.
Maintain product and company reputation by complying with governmental regulations.
Perform as part of a cross trained team executing CNC programming, AutoCAD, and Digitizing
Maintain and update catalog and digital templates for cut-outs

Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to learn new programming languages/CAD software.
Familiarity with CNC machines and Manufacturing environments
CNC programming experience (Alphacam, BiesseWorks, WoodWOP preferred)
3D CAD modeling experience (Pro/E, SolidWorks preferred)
Wood manufacturing experience
Education and/or
Experience:
High School Degree (H.S.) or GED must have at least 3
years CAD drafting experience.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills:
Advanced MS Office Skills Knowledge

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
