Company Work Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Salary: $80,000 - $200,000

Requirements:
Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies
MySQL and other database experience is a plus

years of current java development expeirence
Ajax, DoJo, WAS, Web 2.0, CSS, REST, API, Javascript, DB2, XML
Bachelors degree
Java Web Services: SOAP and REST
Open source toolkits: Apache Commons, Google Guava, Akka, etc
Relevant experience in software engineering; demonstrated success developing a variety of software systems while taking on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment tasks
Experience building highly-scalable web-based software systems, utilizing N-tier architectures, dynamic content, and distributed processing
Java applications deployed to Java Enterprise application/servlet containers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.)
Javascript based web application experience
JDBC communication with relational databases (Oracle preferred)
Development, inspection, and manipulation of XML documents conforming to XSD
Web Service (RESTful or SOAP) interface definition and implementation
Java development IDE (IntelliJ (preferred), Eclipse, Netbeans, etc.)
Source control tools associated with defect/issue tools (source control: GIT (preferred), Mercurial, Clearcase. defect trackers: JIRA (preferred), Clearquest)
Linux based server application deployment
Responsibility:
Design, develop, and test web services to facilitate near-real-time data exchanges between Army and Department of Defense real property systems.
Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for high-profile systems, delivering high availability and performance.
Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applications.
Champion company standards and best practices. Work to continuously improve software delivery processes and practices.
Participate in all phases of system testing.
Communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are managed appropriately and that completed assignments are of the highest quality.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Assist the Client Service Team Manager in monitoring budget by providing estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasksEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
