Summary: Under the supervision of the Finishing Manager, the incumbent is primarily responsible for ensuring that the customer's quality and productivity standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs finishing work within spray booth
Performs color mixtures and color matches to product and production specifications
Applies wood finishes, stains, colors and textures
Performs all necessary product preparation work by sanding, repairing and conditioning wood for priming, staining, painting, and finishing
Operates various sanding, wood cutting, and drilling machines
Other
Qualifications:
Knowledge of unit measures and ability to operate hand tools
Knowledge of color matching and wood finishing
Prior experience working in a wood shop performing final finishes
Prior experience working in spray booth
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
