The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for the provision of residential services and staff activities in the facility. Provide necessary assistance designed to promote maximum development of each consumer's capabilities. Complete admissions, discharges and maintain a therapeutic environment. Serve as a role model and advocate for the consumers receiving services in services in the facility.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats to meet position responsibilities.
Ability to articulate and actively support the mission of the Salvation Army to various audiences.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
Ability to lift 50 pounds non-stationary weights either alone or as part of a two-person assist.
It is preferred that a recovering individual demonstrate a minimum of five years sobriety with current evidence of social and emotional stability.Compliance with criminal background investigation protocol. Current Michigan driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two years experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health or related field preferred. Recovery Coach certified preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
