Procurement Specialist, Fleet and Facilities

Purpose

This position will be responsible for managing local fleet activities as well as performing facilities maintenance tasks for overall NY location.
This position will also be responsible for managing contracts with vendors, ensuring ISNET compliance, managing contract renewals and insurance certifications for NY based contractors.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete inspection and maintenance records on all vehicles, ensuring warranty work, preventative maintenance appropriately completed.
  • Inspection and acceptance of new vehicle deliveries
  • Maintain vehicle GPS tracking system
  • Serves as vehicle purchasing advisor
  • Responsible for managing fuel storage, maintenance of fuel usage records at in-house fueling stations, and issuing authorization cards for each fueling station.
  • Responsible for regulatory filings - DOT records, NYS highway use tax filings, registrations, IFTA reporting
  • Assist with budget prepartion for NY facilities, fleet and warehousing
  • Perform minor facility tasks as needed and coordinate work activities for maintenance, structural repair, refurbishment, snow removal, and improvements to facilities including but not limited to:
  • Office Buildings, Warehouses, Garages, Sub-Stations, Fences, HVAC Systems, Fuel Pumps, Card Readers, Video Surveillance Systems and Grounds.
  • Perform receipt of goods and materials used to support operations, construction and maintenance activities.
  • Receipt and distribution of goods and materials from suppliers.
  • Responsible for accurate physical and computer inventory records of all purchases, items in stock, and items issued.
  • Responsible for maintaining contract renewals and insurance certifications for NY based contractors (including ISNET management of contractors).

Education and Experience

  • Associate s Degree or professional program of 3 years or less required
  • 3-5 years of experiences
  • Willingness to perform periodic physical labor
  • Mechanical Aptitude, Fork Lift Certification a plus #LI-DS1
