All things work amazing on this! I play tested it and I sounded ok (I'm a sax player...so... :). The slide is excellent. The tuning slide is also lubed up (did it iith Schilke Slide Grease...TMI?....)The water key is in great working order.The bell had some minor dents. I worked on them a little. More can be done to be sure, but I did ok.The serial number is 47007, which I think puts it around the early 1950's. The case is pretty awful. I at least vacuumed it, but only one latch works...you might want to get a different one :)This is an AS IS auction, but I have no qualms saying that this thing is in perfect playing condition!!I left the tape where a band director said 'not reparable" ...Hah! Band Directors are so dumb....yes, I'm a band director (Ret.)
