The car debuted at the Detroit auto show in 2000 and the reaction was immediate, customers running into their local Chevy dealership to reserve their spot in line for the concept that was soon to become a reality in 2003.
GM green-lighted the concept with a few modest changes to the concept, but the biggest let down was the engine and transmission.
